  • [#mp3#] Lil Nas X Feat. Billy Ray Cyrus & Diplo Old Town Road download

When we last left the ongoing saga of Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” Billy Ray Cyrus had added a verse to the track in an attempt to shore up the song’s country music bonafides
Previously, the original version had made an appearance on Billboard’s Hot Country chart, only to be removed by Billboard after being deemed insufficiently country, despite featuring banjo samples and lyrics about horses and roads and taking said horses to those roads. Adding a white dude shockingly didn’t get Lil Nas X back on Billboard’s country charts, but the original song and then its new version rocketed to the top of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and has stayed there since. And now, as all big hits eventually must, the song has an electronic remix, courtesy of Diplo. You can check it out above.

After announcing his newfound country star moniker Thomas Wesley, Diplo is back with new country-flavored music with an official remix of Lil Nas X’s viral sensation ‘Old Town Road.’ The track arrives right after the producer’s Stagecoach Festival performance, where he brought out both Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus for a surprise performance of the track (see below).

As you’ll quickly hear, Diplo adds a ton of high-energy percussion to the record while still keep the vibe of the original intact. Stream it on Spotify below and let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
