“The Bachelorette,” never one to shy away from inane histrionics, released a brand new teaser for next week’s episode. And as always, it features [cue dramatic music] A SHOCKING REVEAL. Cheap Nike Air VaporMax Running Shoes Eventually exhibiting similar amounts of growth and commitment to adulthood is Daenerys in Meereen. Mourning the death of Ser Barristan, she decides to round up the heads of the households and have a little dragon tete-a-tete with the group, resulting in some impromptu barbecue and making little progress toward healing the tempestuous situation still bubbling near the surface of the city. Missandei counsels Dany that while she leaned on her counselors when she had not the experience to draw on, she also was more than willing to blaze her own trail when she saw a solution that could work for her. Inspired by the pep talk, Dany goes to Hizdahr, still imprisoned from the visit to the dragons, and informs him that she was wrong and would be reopening the Meereen fighting pits as he wished. And also, that they’d be marrying to solidify the interests of the city. Okay then. But really, that Dany is so blasé about her romantic entanglements makes sense. She gave her heart to Drogo and was destroyed by his death. She gave her trust to Jorah and was devastated by his betrayal. She is wiser now, more mature, and she understands that emotional involvement leaves her weakened. Relationships are much more useful tools when she is the one in charge. lebron shoes sale With the level of commitment Danny DeVito has given to his brilliantly bizarre turn as Frank Reynolds in recent years, it can be hard to remember that he came up as a serious dramatic actor. After Dee is hospitalized in season four’s “Sweet Dee has a heart attack” episode, Frank is sent to a mental hospital after taking too many anxiety pills, and ?we get a neat little reminder — in the form of an epic, meta-callback to DeVito’s star-making role in “One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest.” The episode draws heavily from “Cuckoo’s Nest,” including a character called Martini (“hit me, Mac!”), a Big Chief-esque character (played by the son of the original Big Chief), medication time, and even ending with the movie’s closing theme music. This episode is also a standout example of mixing pop-culture homage with the sort of self-knowing meta commentary that the show also excels at, like “The Gang Tries Desperately to Win an Award” episode, which references the show’s conspicuous lack of Emmys. (Give the gang an Emmy, damnit!) Godzilla?and?Pacific Rim?join a long list of Hollywood tentpoles who are about their least interesting characters―with examples spanning from?Transformers’ Sam Witwicky and?Avatar’s Sully to the titular wizard in?Oz: the Great and Powerful. Was there a reason that?2 Fast 2 Furious?should have become Brian’s story? Despite the late Paul Walker’s charms as an actor, Brian O’Connell was a cipher at best, a catalyst for action rather than a compelling protagonist. This is why future films in the franchise redacted this mistake, making him a small part of a Vin Diesel-led ensemble. Air Jordan 12 Retro CNY Air VaporMax 3.0 Black Nike KD 11 Gold Splatter 2019
